This post is dedicated to my friend, Summer, artist and owner of Ottoman. But before I continue,
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
I hope everyone is catching leprechauns, getting rich, and having a jolly good time! My little daughter caught one, and now has a pot o' chocolate gold...yes, we are having a very good time, indeed!
Why is this post for Summer, you might be asking yourself? Well, today I am wearing one of her Moss Hairpins to add a splash of green to my St. Patty's outfit, and I love it...It's a delight to wear! She offers a variety of moss items in her Moss Collection...do check them out! She also has a new Lichen Collection. Summer's work is most likely familiar to you if you're a frequent Etsy visitor...she is a favorite among many Etsians. Her work is constantly on the front page! :)
In celebration of my dear friend Summer, moss, and the color green, I present to you MY moss collection, or, I guess my parents' moss collection. I spotted it/them on this awesome rock in their front yard while visiting their home last week, and couldn't resist snapping a few pictures for her.
(Look closely--you'll see tiny mounds of moss next to the smaller rocks)
This little guy was the size of my thumbnail...so teeny!
Summer--how do you like the lichen and moss in this picture?
I love this next picture...this old walnut tree stump is covered with lichen and whimsical clay faces made by a local Portland potter.
I think it looks so cool!
Summer, I hope you, and all my readers have enjoyed these pictures! Now, hurry and get your toosh up here so we can get busy on all our craft projects that are waiting for us!
xo,
Pamela
