The Shop is Open!

 

Hello Everyone!

For those of you who have been following me for some time now you'll see things look a bit different here.  I've entered a new stage of life where blogging just doesn't consistently happen anymore.  For this reason alone I decided it's no longer worth it to pay the annual fee for hosting my customizable blog, but fortunately I was able to downgrade to a free template that still hosts all my past posts!  So though all the fancy bell and whistles, links and pictures are no longer on the sides of the blog, the site itself still exists.  And to be honest, I think it actually looks nicer--cleaned up and fresh looking.
And I think that's pretty great.  :)

I wanted to pop on here real quick to let you know the SHOP is open and will be until December 8.  Thanks to all of you who have supported me in the past and continue to support me!  I have some loyal customers who I adore and appreciate.  You know who you are. :)

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment or email if you have a question about past designs being available.  If I have the supplies, I'd love to make it for you!

p.s. This necklace is one of my new designs which just so happens to be one of my favorites.  Perhaps I'm just biased. lol  But I personally enjoy the designs that are a bit more discreet but still represent my children.  It's titled My Flower Garden is Filled with Joy.  Each flower represents each of your children.  To read more about this fun design, which I orignally created for Joy Prouty of Wildflowers Photography, click here.

The shop is opening August 12 {6:30 pm PST}!!

And I can't believe I haven't yet announced it on here yet!

There will be new gold earrings available and I'll also be taking orders for custom hand-stamped necklaces! It's about time right?! So many of you have been patiently waiting to place these orders and I want to thank you for your patience! Be on the lookout for another blog post with pictures of them, though, as I'm slightly changing the design. You'll like it! :)

I'm also offering some cute teeny hand-stamped INITIAL necklaces that I'm absolutely in love with. (They'll be available in gold, too! Yaaay!) you can see them in the pics below.  Plus, more I LOVE YOU necklaces will be in the shop as well. :)

500th Post Giveaway!

I can't believe it!  After posting my last blog post I noticed it was my 500th one!  500!  Holy cow.  That's a lot of posts, people.  I think that calls for a little celebration, don't you?  And since I haven't hosted a giveaway in such a long time, I've got one all ready for you.  And I'm pretty excited about it.  Each gift has been handmade by me, including the little bag.  But real quick, I want to say thank you so very much for visiting my blog and continuing to follow my little life  adventures and creative journey as I strive to balance life as a mama.  I started this blog October 2008 and it's been wonderful ride.  I so appreciate your support!   

The first gift is a dozen pinwheel cupcake toppers...

The 2nd gift is one of my acorn bookmarks.  I love using these!

And the 3rd... a Knots and Gems necklace!  This gold-filled chain features a Labradorite and Moonstone gem.  Such pretty gems, too.  They both emit such a gorgeous glow.  It was hard getting the right angle to show the iridescent shine of the Labradorite, but take a look at the moonstone.  Purdy purdy!

You can't really see the glow in this picture, but at least you'll know how the necklace is supposed to look on your neck. :)

New and Old designs for Tuesday's {March 12} Shop Opening!! And some exciting news at the end of the post...

Hi there!  I'm ready to introduce the jewelry designs that will be available in the shop tomorrow (Tuesday, March 12 at 6:30 pm PST).  Each design is perfect for your loved one's Easter basket (or yours!  sometimes the Easter bunny brings me little gifts my husband didn't plan on...  that little rabbit sure can be sneaky! hee hee). :)

In celebration of Spring and the buds that are popping out on the trees and plants all around our home, I present to you the Bud earrings ($22)! One pair will be available.

And these next lovely earrings are so versatile.  (I guess you could say they look like Easter eggs, though I didn't plan it that way. :) )  Two pairs will be available. ($22)

And I'm bringing back one of my favorite designs, the Add a lil' Oomph earrings ($26).  Two pairs will be available.

Now I'm sorta obsessed with this next necklace.  I haven't named it yet but I love how classy and simple it is. ($36--one will be available)

And I love the splash of assymetrical color the turquoise and ruby gems provide.

A lemon topaz gem adorns the extended clasp.

And here's another new design...  I present to you the Forever & Ever necklace!  A large (little bigger than 1") sterling silver circle that I soldered and hammered and connected to a sturdy yet elegant chain.  I made an extra one for myself I love it so much.  Two will be available. ($36)

A turquoise and garnet gem adorn the clasp.

 

And last but not least, there will be 5 I Love You necklaces available, each with a different colored posy felt hairclip made by me that will top your fabric covered box. Consider the posies an extra little gift from me! (Because if I charged for them the cost would be a lot higher!  They take a little while to make.  :)

For those of you who are new to the blog and my shop, here is a little description of this necklace:

This sweet necklace resembles a locket, with two domed discs facing outward--on the inside disc I've stamped I *heart* you and what you're supposed to do is this--after your daughter opens her gift you tell her that you're going to fill the locket with your kisses, and anytime you're not around and your daughter needs a little kiss from you, all she needs to do is open her locket and take one. I did this for my daughter about three years ago when I left on a five day trip and knew she would be missing me... she loved having her little locket full of 'Mommy kisses'! And to this day my little seven-year-old still asks me to fill her locket with 'kisses'. So sweet. And here I am finally getting around to making some for you! :)

These pendants are made using recycled sterling silver discs (which is why they can be offered at a lower price... lucky you! :) 

And don't forget--the posy needle books and posy bracelets will also be available! 

I hope you love these designs as much as I do! I only make jewelry that I'd wear myself and love and time have gone into each one... Enjoy!  

And as for the exciting news I want to share--there is a very good reason I haven't had time to make more jewelry like I was originally planning for my next shop opening.  We are buying a house!!  And it is the perfect house for us.  Seriously. We move in next week and I can't wait to share pictures with you!  And get this--I'm finally going to have my very own craft room/studio!  And we're going to get chickens again, and try out raising bees for the first time, and the girls will have a little tree house and garden and the list goes on!  Yaaaaaay!  I'm just a tad bit excited. ;)  So wish me luck as I continue to pack up.  Luckily our new home is only 10 minutes away, so it won't be too stressful of a move, but still.  Moving is moving, right?  But there's no complaining on my end.  I just feel so grateful to have found a house that will suit our every need. So very grateful.

Thank you to all of you who ordered from the shop so far!  All 5 I Love You necklaces sold out right away--my apologies to those who have emailed me who tried to get one but weren't able to.  I'll try to make a few more later today if I get everything on my to-do list done.

FYI--I'll be closing up shop tomorrow, and there's 2 Love Tokens and 3 Be Mine Rings left in the shop, along with this Better than Chocolate necklace (chocolate-colored Chalcedony gem) left...

 

I think it'd be a fun gift for a chocolate lovin' friend!  Pair it with a bar of yummy chocolate and you're set! :)

There's also beautiful red coin pearl/white topaz bezel necklace that would make a classy Valentine's Day gift...

Both necklaces are made and ready to ship!

Our Christmas Tree { and a BIG Thank You!}

 

And believe it or not, this is Jane's smile when I tell her to say cheese... ha!

My little munchkins are such hams.

Such a pretty tree it is!

I'm so excited for Christmas.  Cuddling with my girls tonight while reading Christmas books just warmed my little heart, I tell you.  Speaking of Christmas books, we've decided to display them under the tree while waiting for the presents.  I like it that way. :)

Eek! and Boo! Earrings...

Hello Everyone! 

Such a busy week here in my neck of the woods.  I was hoping to open my shop with all sorts of pretty designs by tomorrow, including some fun Halloween earrings/rings, but since some unexpected 'busyness' has visited my house, it won't be happening right now.  However, if there's anyone who's been wanting to buy some EEK! or BOO! earrings, go ahead and email me (psjewelry at gmail dot com) and I'll send you a PayPal invoice right away--I can mail them by tomorrow, Thursday (Oct 25) so you can wear them by Halloween.  They're both $18, and are made using recycled sterling discs.  (You can learn more about my recycled jewelry line HERE.)

Are you ready for Halloween?  I think I am!  I need to take pictures of a fabulous craft I just took part of with a couple of my lady friends... we made witch boots!  You have to make some yourself. SO MUCH FUN!!  Will post pictures soon, I promise.
