Butterfly loooooove.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!  The girls made butterfly cards for their classmates...

 

Such happy little insects they turned out to be!

Even my Valentine helped out.  Oh, how I love him. :)

In a few minutes I'll be making another trail of hearts for the kiddos to follow to find their little Valentine's gift from us... personalized paper dolls from Lily & Thistle!  Can't wait to see their little faces when they see them.

Project Three: ❤ Valentine Love POCKETS ❤

Here it is!  The third and final Valentine felt project!!  (Oh, don't worry...there will be more fun Valentine crafts next week!)  This is the ultimate Valentine to make for your loved one...you can fill it with goodies!  Make one for your honey, children, grandparents, friends...or anyone else you can think of!

 ❤  Love Pocket  ❤

If you have already made the Valentine Felt Cookies or Suckers, you've learned the skills to make this fun valentine.  If not, you can follow the instructions in the above tutorials.  The only differences between the cookies/suckers and the Love Pocket is that it's much bigger, the polyester-filling has been omitted, and I snipped a hole in the back to create a pocket.  

I filled my Honey's Love Pocket with the following:

(Don't worry--I told him he can't look at this post, or he'd be in big trouble!)

❤ His favorite candy

❤ A Love Token

( though my Love Token is handstamped in metal, you can easily make a cute little "love certificate" 

using fun Valentine paper!)

❤ A love note rolled up and tied with a cute little ribbon
