After my two oldest munchkins left for their first day of school yesterday, Jane and I set out to purchase water hyacinths for our new water feature. As soon as I walked through the entrance of Hughes Water Gardens in Tualatin, Oregon, I knew I was in for a treat and would most likely be leaving the place with more than just plants for our little pond. And I was right! :)
{pics taken on my iphone--and how grateful i am for the camera on this phone! It sure is convenient for unexpected adventures like this one!}
Aren't those tropical water lilies out of this world? Though I didn't bring any of those home (darnit!) I bought some other plants that are the perfect fit for our backyard. Such a cool place. To think it's only 15 minutes from my home puts a big smile on my face.
If you're ever in the area, do stop by. Even if it's just to walk around and to take in all the beauty. It's that cool of a place.

Pamela
p.s. Hope all of you are well! I've been feeling a little guilty not posting on here as much as I used to. Honestly, Instagram has been such a wonderful way for me to quickly post pictures of our latest happenings, I'd love for you to follow me on there if you'd like to. There's such a postive community of people on there, too, which has been so enjoyable.
p.p.s. Thank you to all of you who helped make my last shop opening a huge success. You are the bee's knees in my book! xoxo
