Our Weekend of General Conference, Cinnamon Rolls, and Dragons {& a wedding, too!}

 

This weekend our family enjoyed watching General Conference (a semi-annual worldwide broadcast from our church leaders... very uplifting addresses focused on family and and gospel principles), tasty homemade cinnamon rolls, and getting spooked by Miss J all dressed up in her dragon costume for Halloween.  This little one loved to jump in front of us yelling,  "ROOOOOOOAAAAARRRR!!" in her "scary" dragon voice that really isn't scary at all, but downright adorable! 

But that's not all I did... I also photographed my cousin's wedding up in Bellingham, WA.  Gorgeous bride, gorgeous venue, gorgeous day. And I can't describe the joy I experienced spending time with this special family, cousins that I grew up with that I love so dearly.  The quote in the first picture of this post accurately describes my relationship with my cousin, Kim, the sister of the bride.  We've gone some years without much contact, but the moment we reunited this weekend it was as if we picked right up where we left off.  Love you, Kim!

But back to the wedding... :)

p.s. You might notice at the top of the blog, underneath the banner, are some new tabs.. Why it's taken me four years to create them is beyond me, but there you go.  If you've been wanting to learn about what kind of camera I use, or learn more about me, you can by clicking on the FAQS tab. :)  But I have to ask... is the off-centeredness of those tabs driving you crazy like the are me?  Get this... if I want to center them, it's going to cost me an extra 7 bucks a month.  Um, no thanks.  Honestly, I'm thinking of switching to a different blog hosting service.  I asked some of you on facebook if any of you had advice for me about whether I should look into Wordpress or blogspot, but are there any more opinions out there?  Thanks in advance!

I have Blogspot, I've seen Wordpress but wasn't impressed with it!
