I almost fell off my chair when I saw these on your blog! Somebody in our ward brought those exact blocks to Primary last Sunday. She said she made them for a RS activity years ago. I asked my husband this week if he would cut me some blocks so I could make them. I love them! So, it was kind of crazy to see the same blocks on here! I am excited to try them, it may be an after Christmas project for me though. Hopefully we will be playing with them next year. I can't wait to see yours! FYI, I'm pretty sure my friend said they put stain over the characters too, not just around them, to give them an aged look.

No way!!!! So cool! Too bad we don't live closer to one another to make them together! :)

Those are the cutest blocks! I have to make some. I was trying to think of some way to make a nativity that the kids could play with. I'm not sure if I could draw the figures but I will have to give it a try.
