What busy people we've been this last week. Much has gone on in our household...some good, some not so good. Little Miss A experienced her first trip to the hospital, poor thing. She accidentally slipped on a princess dress that was on the ground, fell, and split her chin open. It was a deep laceration, and has three stitches to prove it. I mean, I won't even go into detail of how bad it was. It seemed like every nurse that took a look at it said, "Whoahhhh, that's a dinger!" I shudder just thinking about it. But thankfully she is okay and is healing beautifully.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Aaron's coworker, Leah, who was kind and thoughtful enough to send this little gift home to Miss A...
(this little bear has three stitches, just like Miss A...too cute!)

Leah--Miss A LOVES it! She named it Aurora (after the Princess Sleeping Beauty), and hasn't let it out of her sight since it was given to her...not once. You have helped her feel extra special. Thank you SO much!

Here is a picture Miss A drew of herself with stitches:
Hopefully the fact she drew herself smiling and that the sun is shining means she wasn't too traumatized after the incident.
And here is a picture Miss C drew of her big sis with stitches:
Oh, and is this the point I tell you that on our way to the hospital, after pulling out of our driveway, the backdoor of my minivan wasn't closed all the way and the movement of the car moving forward caused the door to lift up just in time to hit the carport? What's that you ask? Did it break? YES! IT DID! The back door of the van broke, BEFORE I EVEN LEFT THE DRIVEWAY!
I tell ya, when it rains, it pours.
But, all is well now...just thought I'd fill you in on our latest adventures.
And now, I am off to bed. Goodnight!
xo,
Pamela
