If you have some homemade jelly or jam laying around, here is a fun project to make, especially if you've recently wanted to give away a handmade gift. This is what I gave to the owner of the vineyard in addition to a few quarts of the Merlot grape juice, along with a
pair of "Grape" earrings made of Iolite gems.
To decorate the jars cut your desired fabric with pinking scissors, tie raffia or ribbon around the rim, add a tag, and walahh! You're done! I used metal handstamped tags to label the jelly, but I think paper tags stamped with ink will be just as cute! In fact, I recently spotted small alphabet stamps at JoAnnes for only $1. You can' beat that price!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Monday! I'm currently visiting my father and sister again, and am enjoying my stay. I can't wait for tonight--my sister and I are going to begin a knitting project--fingerless gloves! I'll share the free pattern we found on a later post.
Have a great day!
xo,
Pamela
Awwww... so cute. But your stamped tags really finish it off nicely!
Have fun with the fam!

Wow what a gift! I'm sure the owner of that vineyard will give you a call if her grapes freeze again! (and call me if that happens) :)

Oh, I love these! Both the jars and the earrings. Such a thoughtful way to say "thanks". Beautiful. And the Merlot grape juice is killing me, but you already knew that!
