Who's been wanting to make their own Nativity Set? Great! You're going to love this craft idea...
behold the Nativity blocks!
I love these! Not only do I love them because they're cute, but kiddos can play with them to their little hearts content and not break them. My friend and her hubby made these about 18 years ago, and they have five children. I told you they're sturdy!
After my dad helps me cut some 2X4s, I'll make these by following the same instructions I gave you for the Fairy Village. I'm pretty sure applying a stain-finish around the characters is the only extra step that's needed. If any of you beat me to this project let me know if there's anything else I should add to this post!
And speaking of the Fairy Village, look what Miss A made after watching Tangled...
Lemon Meringue makes a nice Rapunzel substitute, wouldn't you say?
By the way, that was a great movie! A tad bit scary for Miss A & C, but they enjoyed it overall. I know the mister and I loved it!
Happy Weekend!

Pamela
