I think without! But, then, I love simplicity!

Elissa

I think I like them without better, but they are awfully cute both ways!

I am totally digging that owl and the salt and pepper shakers. Such amazing work.

Dionne C

These are all so lovely. You're mama passed on her talent to you!

I like it without the legs. It's cuter. I think it's the roundness of it's body that make it so cute!

Beth Perry

DEF without the legs. More fun.
And they are sooo freaking cute! The shakers are cool too. You are very talented with clay. That is something that I hope to take a class on one day. Stretch my limits, so to speak. ;P
Yeah, I am totally going to have to look at those pins. I normally don't wear girly things..You could say most of the time, I have a rocker image..but, I love throwing that unexpected girly flower or pearls or something like that to 'girl' up my look. haha

Hmmm...tough call Pamela! I think I like the ones with legs. I like my pigs with legs.

Alisha

A-mazing!! What a feeling to work with clay and make such creations. You make everything I would want to buy at a shop!

Sarah Stice

I like them without legs. Both ways are cute, but without legs makes them seem more pudgy somehow. I LOVE all the things you both made! So impressive!

Pamela Susan

Wow!! It sounds like the legless piggy is the winner so far!! :)

Jodell

Wow, you're amazing! I too like the pigs without the legs best. Be sure to post some more pics after they've been fired and glazed :)

Shelly

Pam, Do you ship your stuff? If so, save me the salt and pepper shakers and a sugar shaker. They are beautiful! You & Ellen are so amazingly talented!

Kandice Olcese

Without Legs! You are right, they are more whimsical without, much cuter. By the way, I LOVE the Owl, please post pics of them done!

Erin

No legs. I like them squatting.

BTW, i LOVE the owl. i have a thing for owls right now. amazing. do you plan on selling that? :)

Mariah Ballard

Wow Pam! You guys are so talented! You amazed me. I like the pig without the feet.

Tracy Hutchins

Hi Pam,

I was a friend of your mothers....every now and then I do a google on "Pollywog Pottery" to see if someone has posted something about her amazing work. And this time it led me to your post here!

Wow. I didn't realize that Ellen was a potter too :). It brought a tear to my eye to see her work - so inspired by your mother's.

It does me good to know you are carrying on the Pollywog legacy. You have no idea how happy this has made me.

Love to you all,

Tracy Hutchins

P.S. I have a lovely picture of your mother in my own studio ~ and it makes me smile knowing that she's watching me stumble around the clay, dreaming of being something half as great as her some day ;)~~~

Tracy Hutchins

I should clarify that I knew you worked in clay and I'd seen your lovely work in pictures before....I didn't mean to forget how much I think you *both* have your mother's amazing gifts! Sorry *blush*

Marilyn Peterson

It appears this site is a flowing legacy out of Susan Nebeker's work? I have one of her wondrous totems, birds, etc. Could you please post me an e-mail when you do a show? The frogs and owl are so intriguing. I would pass the word to other of Susan's enduring fans.

Thank you.

jeri

Do you still make the legless piggy banks> How much and would you ship them?

Pamela Susan

Hello Marilyn,

Thank you SO much for your kind comment.

My sincerest apologies for just now getting back to you!! Yes, Susan is my mother. How wonderful you own some of her creations! I would LOVE to see some pictures of them. We still hope to some day host a show in honor of her. I'll definitely let you know when it will be once I know. :)

Pamela Susan

Hello Jeri! I do have some of the legless piggy banks, but they're not finished just yet. They cost $50 and I would be more than happy to ship them, though they might not be available for a while. I could set a goal to have them complete by this summer. Would you like me to notify you when they're done?

Many thanks!
